STUDENT PROCEDURES FOR ATTENDANCE APPEALS
Students who are passing a class (60 or higher), but have violated the attendance policy by accumulating more than 8 unexcused absences in that class will not receive credit for that course.
If absences are attributed to extenuating circumstances, including but not limited to hospitalizations, lengthy illnesses treated by medical professionals, or other serious illnesses or injuries, an attendance waiver may be requested in order to appeal the loss of course credit.
*Parents can view their child's attendance through the Power School Parent website. Parents will need a user name and password to use the Parent website. Parents must stop by the office and provide ID to receive their user name and password.*
