My name is Candice Wall Dinkins, allow me to tell you a little about myself.
Education:

Work Experience:
I have been blessed to work in Yadkin County schools for over 30 years! I began my career at East Bend Elementary as a classroom teacher. After working 12 years in the classroom, I changed my pathway and began the journey into administration. I have served as an elementary assistant principal for 4 years and as a high school assistant principal for the remainder of my administrative career. I have been at Forbush High School since the fall of 2011.
Family:
I have two daughters, Hannah and Callie. Hannah graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with a degree in Natural Resource Management with a Wildlife Concentration (2018), Western Carolina University with a MA in Biology (2021), and a K-12 teaching license in Agriculture from ABAC (2022). Hannah is teaching middle school in Georgia and is working towards her EDS degree from the University of Auburn. Callie is a graduate from Western Carolina University in Cultural Anthropology and a minor in Cherokee studies (2021). She is multi-lingual and is able to speak Cherokee, as well as Spanish and Japanese. Callie is attending Carteret Community College fall of 2022 and will be studying Aquaculture and Creative Writing. Callie desires to bridge her love for the ocean and anthropology be writing historical documentaries of people and their lives. She is also seeking a master's program which will support her career goals. As you can tell, education is important to me and my family! Learning is the key that unlocks doors to the future.
