I served 26 years in the US Army, traveling to 28 countries during my career (some fun, some NOT). I have worked at the Squad, Platoon and Company levels as a Forward Observer Team Chief and Fire Direction Chief, Platoon Sergeant, and First Sergeant up to the Corps level as a Senior Fire Support NCO. Other assignments have included Observer Controller at the National Training Center, Battalion and Brigade Operations and Training Sergeant, Brigade and Division Fire Support Coordinator and two years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with the Senior ROTC department, GO HEELS! I live in Yadkinville with my wife Audrey who works in the Winston Salem Forsyth County school system. We have two daughters, Kathryn and Madison and two cats, Buddha and Lil'Bit. I have truly enjoyed my time teaching at Forbush High School and have been welcomed to the school by the staff, faculty, and students. My wife and I enjoy being part of the Forbush and Yadkin county community!
