Exciting Summer Opportunity: Hands-On Science Experience for High School Students
Forbush High School is excited to share an incredible opportunity for our students interested in science and research! The Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine will host its annual High School Summer Research Exposure Program, offering students a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in the cutting-edge field of regenerative medicine.
Program Details:
Program Dates: June 23 - July 18, 2025
Location: Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine
Eligibility: North Carolina high school students ages 16-18
Application Opens: February 15, 2025
Application Deadline: March 15, 2025
This 4-week commuter program provides students with mentored research experiences in a real-world laboratory setting. Participants will work alongside professionals to explore regenerative medicine science, learn about the scientific process, and discover exciting STEM and biomedical career pathways.
The program’s goal is to inspire students, foster a passion for science, and prepare them for advanced education and careers in STEM fields.
